Growing up in West Virginia, I have seen firsthand the challenges that our state faces; rural populations of people without basic needs who are out of work because of dying industries, coupled with a stigma of being uneducated. These people are the backbone of what makes our state great. My passion has always been working to give back to the state and communities that gave me so much. It is important to me that I do everything I can to help the people of West Virginia, and ensure that they are provided services that they so desperately need.
